Mixed emotions for me on this film. When I saw the trailer I was so amped when they brought back the initial 1979 trailer music. For me some things in the film work while most don’t. This is the 3rd best example of a movie I wanted to love and I don’t. You know who was going to die and who wasn’t. The main character was never in any real danger, no matter what her situation was, and as a viewer you knew she wasn’t. This is the 2nd best example of a movie I wanted to love and I don’t. This movie was perceived so well at it’s time of release, that there was talk of Halle Berry’s character Jinx was getting her own spin-off. I loved Goldeneye and still do. Die another day is simply my least favorite Bond film. Too say “It sucks” is still immature. In defense of Pierce Brosnan there’s nothing with his performance in this film, I just don’t care for the rest of the movie.
