I wore my black jumpsuit and pair it with just a belt. Bought along a jacket for formality. I think it does look simple yet classy to make a good impression. I was just at our consulate this morning. (A few days ago by now.) (Getting the kids’ first adult US passports.) People dressed normally. The many Americans doing the same thing as us were in normal street clothes. (We had no need to dress to impress.) The others, who appeared to be likely immigrants to New Zealand, wore normal work-day clothes. In New Zealand, that’s business casual. Neat, clean, comfortable, professional, but nothing formal.
