Jack Skellington The Child Is Grown The Dream Is Gone I Have Become Comfortably Numb Pink Floyd T-Shirt

When i was in grade school I was the Jack Skellington The Child Is Grown The Dream Is Gone I Have Become Comfortably Numb Pink Floyd T-Shirt in contrast I will get this geek of my class. I hung out with the geek of the class beneath me. We were just…nerdy kids who didn’t fit in college I did sound management for touring bands. Out of the blue, Tommy’s band comes through town on a few occasions. I did his sound. We caught up, hung out. Etc. in the mid 90s I was working at a rock station in South Carolina when the music director approached me and asked me very directly, ‘you’re from Louisiana, right?’ Apparently they put the band back together. Tom Drummond’s bass line for their song ‘Good’ remains one of the most iconic bass lines of the 90s and beyond. That was my nerd friend in grade school. Went on to become a rock god. While I just spun his tunes as a deejay. Tom’s de man!

ALSO, I was asked to play bass during some rehearsals for some kid in the Jack Skellington The Child Is Grown The Dream Is Gone I Have Become Comfortably Numb Pink Floyd T-Shirt in contrast I will get this 90s. He was just 16. Played guitar very well. The rehearsals happened at my apt at the time because I had the PA gear. So the band came to me. we jammed for three days. The kid was brilliant. Played like a rock star. In between sets, he sat down and played NCAA basketball on whatever Nintendo system I had. He was still just a kid. Completely zoned out for the video games. the next week I was called, told I was in the band if I wanted. I knew I was only good enough to be replaced later. Also I worked evenings and the kid was 16. Where could we gig? No bar would let him in. So I politely passed. The next year he opens for BB King. And then the Eagles. And then he’s nominated for a Grammy. It literally took Eric Clapton to beat him. Yeh. I said no to a young Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
