Don’t worry about the test scores and the tardiness. Just focus on keeping your stress levels low, and your work balanced. High school is tough no matter what. There’s social pressures and weird drama and endless amounts of homework. Take the AP classes but don’t make them your end-all-be-all. Don’t cry if you have a 3.3 sophomore year, or you get a 1 on your AP Human exam. Because, no matter what, if you do your work and you make sure that you are getting your sleep and studying the amount you need to, your GPA will change. It’ll go up. It’ll go down. And it’ll go up again. You will get into college.
Personally, I do not mind homework. I like to hunker down with my cup of hot chocolate and write essays and poems, and solve math equations. Even though I had just spent the Official Kyle Larson Racing wins at Martinsville signature 2023 Hwy Apart from…,I will love this day doing school work, I still enjoy the time where I am most productive, which is at home, by myself, earbuds plugged in, and computer keys at my fingertips; no one around to need me, to have to be polite with, to have to talk to (or listen to for that matter ;p). But, I am not what you would call a “normal teenage girl”. Most teenagers, from my experience, do NOT enjoy homework the same way I do, and would rather not spend their time inside at their desk. Teenagers have busy lives and also enjoy to get out and do stuff (contrary to popular belief). And, I, keeping an open mind, would have to agree: homework should not be a requirement.
