The IPM students are required to complete a social internship at the Official Robert Bruno Denver Nuggets shirt but in fact I love this end of year 2. In addition to the Social Internship, IPM students do a business internship along with the PGP students between years 4 & 5. Apart from academic programmes, the IPM participants are exposed to various extra-curricular activities in order to inculcate in them leadership qualities and managerial skills. The IPM participants have formed several Clubs/Committees through which they complement their academic activities.
IPM is a flagship course of IIM Indore. It kicked-off in 2011. the Official Robert Bruno Denver Nuggets shirt but in fact I love this course takes 120 students every year. The course is new and is very structured and aims to provide foundations in management. The first 3 years IPM offers courses in mathematics, statistics, economics, humanities and communication skills. the course has been designed so well. This can be understood from the mere fact that, while the sciences ensures the student is trained to apply the theory in real life problems, humanities help us understand the dimensions to approach and think outside the box, if needed. Communications act as the medium to help people understand our ideas and put forward what is necessary. the combination of these helps us to be good with problem solving, coming up with a feasible idea and help the stakeholders understand the relevance of the problem. In all, it builds managerial acumen with emphasis on making students contextually relevant.
