At least some ancient Greek women, especially in later periods of Greek history, almost certainly knew that lead carbonate was highly toxic. As I discuss in this article, I wrote in August 2019, contrary to what many people think, many people in ancient Greece and Rome were well aware that lead is a toxic substance.
