This lodge is very near to Lamar valley, the heaven for watching wildlife. After your stay in the lodge you need to start early to watch the wildlife as that is the best time and fewer crowd. Next yo should visit Lower falls and upper falls. The color of the rocks on the side of river are amazing. Next proceed to the geysers and basins. Norris Geyser Basin is a beautiful one. Visit lower mid and upper geyser basin. Then comes the famous old faithful Geyser. this one is truly faithful and always on time. This is near to historical Old faithful Inn and needs almost no walking. But to see the other geysers you need at least a whole day. I can bet you are not going to be bored and time will fly. Stay at least a couple of nights in Old faithful Inn. there is an old faithful lodge also. Next see the Grand Prismatic Spring. Once you visit this, you are not going to forget the color your whole life. There are so many other hot springs and geysers. Next you can proceed to Yellowstone lake. You will see the beauty of Geysers coming from inside of the lake. You can see the smoke. Stay at lake lodge. They are not much expensive. You will not have a microwave oven in your room. But you will get out of bed with a bison knock. Throughout the journey you will see bison, elk and other animals blocking your road. Do not rush, enjoy and yield to the nature. It will be painful to leave the park. With this plan you will cover most of the park. You can exit from the south entrance to proceed to Grand Teton nationl park, another natural beauty. I would go to Yellowstone again and again and again…………….
