Tiddlywinks and marbles are “games” and not “sports” in my mind because though there is a small element of physicality and coordination involved, it’s a pretty low level. But what would you call playing the piano? My only point is that these are “soft” terms, and as soon as you try to rigidly compartmentalize these things based solely on the words, you are going to have a problem with some situations in attempting to cleanly separate them. In particular you have to distinguish who is participating in the activity and at what level of competition. At the high end, many things qualify as a sport. But when two non-athletes are just fooling around, having fun, no one mistakes them as participating in a major sport.
