If people start thinking Switch in term of tablet functionality like SNS, browsing, or Netflix, Switch start to look very overpriced. Also, Nintendo barely make money by sales of console but make money by taking cut in sales of games published in their platform. (Sony/Microsoft sell their console at loss). Time people spend watching Netflix is time people not playing games, so it is loss to Nintendo. Also, mobile apps are casual games sold for free or few pounds at most. Nintendo don’t want such things polluting their eco system.
